We believe we were put on this earth to make it a better place. How do we do this?

Through LOVE.

What is our best example of love? JESUS CHRIST

WHAT IS THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST?

God created all of us with the intention for us to be in a perfect relationship with Him that would last forever. Sadly, that relationship was broken when people sinned and decided to follow their ways instead of God’s. To fix the broken relationship, God sent his son, Jesus, to die on the cross and pay the penalty for our sins. Jesus’ death and resurrection paves the way to a restored relationship with God and a forever life in heaven, which He offers us as a free gift! God loves us completely and will never force us to follow Him, so He gives us the choice to receive or reject this amazing gift.

THE GOOD NEWS IN FIVE WORDS

  • God - All of us were created by God to be in a relationship with Him.

  • Sin - Because of sin, that relationship was broken.

  • Jesus - Jesus Christ died on the Cross and rose from the grave to pay the

penalty for our sins and fix what has been broken.

  • Gift - Jesus offers forgiveness and eternity in heaven as a free gift.

  • Choice - God loves us completely, so He allows us to choose whether to receive or reject this gift.

HOW TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN

A - Admit that I’m a sinner and can’t save myself.
B - Believe that Jesus died for my sins, rose again and has the power to forgive me and offer a restored relationship with God and eternal life in heaven.
C - Commit to following Jesus and His ways for the rest of my life.

I DECIDED TO FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST! NOW WHAT?

We are so excited about your decision to put your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord! As you begin this journey of trusting Jesus and following him, here are a few next steps to help you build a foundation for your faith.

READ THE BIBLE

If you don’t have a Bible, we would love to help get you one. The Bible is God’s Word, it allows us the chance to know Jesus better and how we are called to live as Christians. If you are looking for a place to begin reading, start with the book of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John called the Gospels in the New Testament.

PRAY

Prayer is simply talking with God. If we desire to know God more deeply, we must communicate with Him regularly. Throughout each day, you can give thanks to God, ask Him to answer your daily needs and pray on behalf of others. It’s also important to pray together with others who also follow Jesus.

GET BAPTIZED

Baptism symbolizes your new life in Jesus and proclaims that you are now committed to Jesus. Even Jesus was baptized (Luke 3:1- 22), and He called His followers to also be baptized.

FIND COMMUNITY

The Christian life is designed to be enjoyed with others. The easiest and best way to do this is through our Life Groups Network. We would love to help get you plugged into a group.
